Client Support & How-To

How do we start a project with Rocket Web?

Use the contact form and tell us what is happening, not which platform you think you need.

We will review the current system, the operational problem, the timing, and whether Rocket Web is the right size and shape of partner. If the next step is an assessment or discovery engagement, we will define its scope, price, and output before work starts.

How does an existing client create a support ticket?

Create the ticket in the Rocket Web client portal using the access provided at kickoff.

For an urgent production issue, submit the ticket first so the facts and timestamps are captured, then contact your Rocket Web project lead through the agreed escalation channel.

How do we access the staging environment?

The staging URL, credentials, and access rules are documented during development. If access is missing or expired, create a support ticket rather than sharing credentials over email or chat.

How do we request a change during development?

Put the request in the project system and include the business reason, desired behavior, and deadline if one exists.

We will show whether it fits the agreed scope, can replace work of similar effort, needs a separate fixed quote, or belongs in the post-launch phase. The request is never the problem. Letting it change the budget and date without a decision is.

What should a useful bug report include?

  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead
  • The page, order, account, product, or environment involved
  • The time and timezone
  • Steps another person can follow to reproduce it
  • The exact error message
  • A screenshot or short recording when it helps

Do not include payment card data, passwords, API keys, or other secrets in the ticket.
