Frequently Asked Questions
About Rocket Web
Who is Rocket Web, and what do you actually do?
Rocket Web is a senior engineering team for businesses whose ecommerce operation has become too important for generic answers. We build, migrate, rescue, secure, and operate Magento, Mage-OS, Adobe Commerce, and Shopware stores. We also connect them to NetSuite and the other systems that keep orders moving.
We are most useful when the store is not just a website. It is part of how the business prices, sells, fulfills, and gets paid.
Where is Rocket Web located?
Rocket Web is headquartered in Noblesville, Indiana, just outside Indianapolis, with an office in Nashville, Tennessee. Our team works across the United States and Europe, including Poland, Slovenia, Spain, and Ukraine.
What makes Rocket Web different from another ecommerce agency?
We start with the business system, not the platform sales deck. Who owns the customer data? Which system owns inventory? What happens when NetSuite is unavailable? Can another qualified team operate the store if you leave us?
Then we put the answer in writing. Projects are fixed-price after assessment. Care plans define responsibilities and response times. Your repositories, infrastructure accounts, data, documentation, test suite, and deployment access stay under your control.
What platforms and partnerships do you have?
Rocket Web is a member of the Mage-OS Association, a Shopware Gold Partner, and a Hyvä Silver Partner. We contribute money, code, and product work to the open Magento ecosystem.
We were an Adobe/Magento Solution Partner for more than a decade. We left the program because our recommendation should follow the merchant's requirements, not a software license. The badge came down. The experience we built over those years did not disappear.
What is the difference between Mage-OS and Adobe Commerce?
Mage-OS is a community-governed distribution built on Magento Open Source. The code is open source, there is no platform license fee, and the merchant can control the infrastructure and implementation roadmap.
Adobe Commerce is the paid commercial platform. It includes capabilities such as Adobe's complete B2B suite, content staging, commercial support, and Adobe services that some businesses genuinely need.
We map the features you actually use, the cost of replacing them, and the three-year cost of operating each option. Sometimes Adobe Commerce earns its price. Sometimes it is an expensive answer to a requirement you do not have.
